pfft. i am SO annoyed with my service provider [which, for my safety, shall remain unnamed here]. my phone has been on since 2.30 am last night and i still haven't received any of the messages that were sent to me while i was away. if i get really desperate, i will call them up to complain later.
anyway, i am back, and very happy for that matter. going there made me apprecaite all the nice, healthier, chinese food you get here. just so you know, i ate a horrendous number of THREE buffets [all in las vegas because the food is surprisingly affordable there], and SIX fast food meals while i was there. towards the end of our stay there, my entire family was so anxious to eat chinese food that we drove all around looking for chinese eateries at meal times.
i'm really glad to be back in hot and humid weather conditions again. there, it was cold and dry, providing the perfect conditions for getting static shocks several times. the place i visited with the worst weather was definitely the grand canyon. daytime temperatures were slightly over zero degrees celsius while night temperature fell below zero degrees- ideal for frost shattering, which was quite apparent in some areas.

las vegas looked amazing at night with all the fancy lights. the photos are just a glimpse of the glitz there. the hotels there all have different themes and are attractions in their own rights. but i still wouldn't like to stay there permenantly, what with all the casinos and advertisements everywhere offering uh, other people for the night.

the grand canyon is quite the opposite. it's immense and beautiful; it leaves you in so much awe of God's creations.
california's disneyland is not worth a visit if you have gone to florida's disneyworld.
if you go to any part in USA, be sure to check out wal-mart. some things are much cheaper than the same items found in Singapore. go to the factory outlets too! the branded shoes there are a lot more affordable. most clothes are still very ex after discount though. i didn't buy any.
